"Cost-free academic licences are available for teaching and research purposes only, being limited to the study of small-size systems. Academic licenses should be requested by university staff, through an official letter, sent to the e-mail address dse@cepel.br. Brazilian Government laws require that a contract be signed before this cost-free academic license is delivered.Delivery here means password permission to download the  software executables from CEPEL website. There are no related expenses, but no maintenance services will be provided by CEPEL, other than access to software updates. The academic user should however be able to install and use the software, based on the written instructions and test systems provided. Most of these test systems have been described in technical publications on major journals and conference proceedings."
